Legacy Place Parma offers two types of service - 'Basic Services' which are included in every resident's living package, and 'Medical and Personal Assistance Services' which are tailored to meet each residents' specific medical needs.

Basic Services

Basic services at Legacy Place are the services that automatically make our resident's lives easier, safer and more fun! Below are some of the basic services and activities we offer. Keep in mind, our activities are constantly changing so there's no way we can list them all here. For a complete list of upcoming activities please check our 'News & Events" page.

• Three delicious home style meals a day.
• Substitute meals are always available, and snacks are available 24 hrs a day.
• Private guest dining room and guest meals.
• Free weekly housekeeping as well as free laundry service.
• Transportation to doctor appointments, shopping trips, outings, sports activities, restaurants, community events and much more.
• Religious and spiritual services including rosary groups, Catholic Mass and other church services.
• Daily exercise program including 'Wii' bowling, golf and tennis.
• Bingo, cards, board games, computer classes and much more.
• Musical and many other entertainment events.
• Art therapy, music therapy, arts and crafts.
• Beauty salon and spa on site - weekly manicures.
• Book of the month club - trips to the local library.

Medical and Personal Assistance Services

Medical and personal assistance services are extra services that may be prescribed by your doctor, or other personal services that allow you to live independently as long as possible. Below are many of our extra services. If there is a service missing that you need, please give us a call (440) 845-0200, chances are we offer it as well.

• Rehabilitation programs - physical, occupational and speech therapy.
• Respiratory therapy - respiratory therapy and breathing treatments are administered by our respiratory therapist and registered nurses.
• Assistance with bathing, dressing or grooming.
• Assistance with medication management.
• Incontinence care.
• Escort to and from meals and activities.
• Periodic nighttime checkups.

• Twenty-four hour caregivers on site.
• Wound care, IV therapy, tube feedings, PD.
• Peritoneal dialysis on site.
• Hemodialysis at nearby dialysis centers.
• Hospice and palliative care.
• On site podiatrist, pharmacist, optometrist and psychiatrist.
